Terms and Conditions of Service

Consultations:
Consultations are required by all new clients. A consultation will help us to better schedule the service, reduce wait time, and give the client an EXACT  price for the service. The consultation fee will be applied as a deposit if the appointment is made on the day of the consultation and is scheduled and performed no later than 60 days from the consultation. At any time, we reserve the right not to proceed with the service if we feel that it is not in the best interest of the client. This includes but is not limited to, unreasonable expectations of service. The fee is non-refundable and is for the services provided during the consultation/color analysis.  All photographs, test results, formulas, notes, or written material generated during the consultation are the intellectual property of Nicole Saavedra. Any copies, photographs, or all other forms of dissemination are prohibited.

Payment types:
The only payment method accepted is cash.

Formulations:
Formulations used by Nicole are her intellectual property and are not for sale.

Structure of services:
All services include- Glaze, Conditioning Treatment, Haircut/Trim, and Blowout.
This prevents unpleasant surprises with costs "common with services at other salons." Furthermore, as a Master Stylist who has won numerous awards, Nicole feels that in order for the finished work to be perfect she must give her clients a haircut, which is included.

Confirmations:

We will text you a confirmation link 3 to 4 days prior to your service and we will make several attempts to confirm your appointment.
Unfortunately, if you do not return our texts, answer the phone, or return voice messages we will be forced to cancel your appointment.

Missed Appointments or Canceling after confirming:
If you miss an appointment or cancel after confirming, we will require a 50% deposit on all future visits.
Since we do not accept credit cards, you can stop in at any time to leave your deposit and book your appointment.

A missed appointment or late cancellation "after confirming" forfeits any deposit. We hope that you understand that a missed appointment is a financial loss and a missed opportunity for another client to have received services that they have been waiting for.

Revisions:
Nicole has the unique ability to execute her work flawlessly. She is also a consummate professional and will thoroughly review your requirements and realistic expectations before starting the service. She does not revise or make adjustments to her work for any reason. If you want a change after the work is completed, you must schedule a separate paid service. If you have a visual concept that you want, such as a picture from her Gallery, Video, Web, or Magazine, it will be helpful if you bring it with you.

Micro Root Color:

Micro Root Color must be removed within 40 minutes of Application - We do not assume any responsibility or liability for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or injury resulting from failure to remove applied chemicals within the allotted time.

Images, Film, and Marketing Rights:

Before and after pictures are taken of every client. Client agrees to give us, or an authorized third party the right to use the images for public and social media, web, television, magazine, or other print media, or any other media we may see fit. We make every effort not to show faces or other identifiable marks.  However, we can not guarantee that you will not be recognized. Videos are sometimes produced, and you might find yourself in the background. If you wish to be excluded, you must let us know in advance. If you are asked and agree to be in a video, the same conditions apply.

Communications:

Any type of communication such as "but not limited to" text, emails, social media messages, or posts, may be copied and used for testimonials, marketing and advertising purposes in public and social media, web, television, magazine, or other print media, or any other media we may seem fit.

Private information:

We never share your private information. By giving us your phone number you agree that we can use it to confirm appointments and occasionally for marketing.  You can opt out permanently from all marketing campaigns by simply responding to the marketing text with the word "stop".

Cancellations:

On rare occasions, we may cancel appointments, due to a contractual agreement in New York City.

Please be courteous and limit your use of electronic devices.
